Joe Kahn Founder and CEO

Joe is the owner and founder of NEOC. If Joe had a superpower, he would want it to be manipulating time, presumably so he could fit more into a single, summer day. Joe loves the movie Shrek and enjoys doing skits around a campfire (although it is well known that his accents need work). Joe's wonderful memories of his camp experiences remind him all the time of the amazing impact camp has on children's lives and how important it is to make camp fun for both campers and staff. Before starting LINX, Joe worked as a financial consultant for KCI and worked for McKinsey & Co in Boston; he was the COO/CFO of an eldercare startup and did turnaround work as well. Drawing on his business experience, his passion for teaching and desire to help children expand their interests, Joe created an innovative enrichment environment first of classes and then of camps in which children explore and experience new things and learn along the way. He has proven that children learn and retain experiences most notably in a fun based environment, which is the hallmark of NEOC. Joe is a board member of Camp Casco, which provides free camp experiences for children with cancer. He holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S.in Management, with a minor in Computer Science, from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Joe is married and the proud father of two daughters.

Meesh Hundley Executive Director of Camps

Michelle (Meesh) is our Executive Director of Camps. Meesh balances the needs of campers, staff and camp families all year long while continuing to bring innovative thinking to the NEOC of today and of the future. An avid hiker, Meesh has conquered the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu and, closer to home, regularly hikes in New Hampshire. Meesh loves Crunchie bars and the movie Shrek. Put the two together, and it's a WOW for Meesh! Meesh has an extensive background in directing children's enrichme... Michelle (Meesh) is our Executive Director of Camps. Meesh balances the needs of campers, staff and camp families all year long while continuing to bring innovative thinking to the NEOC of today and of the future. She is passionate about delivering superior customer service to families while ensuring that campers are having fun each day in a safe and supportive environment. Meesh is equally concerned about the day-to-day experience of the camp staff who, she believes, are encouraging and supportive role models for our campers. Everyday Meesh brings ingenuity and drive to create inclusive programs designed to unite and empower a diverse camper population. Meesh is a graduate of Framingham State University.

Jessica Grinsztein Director of NEOC and Supervising Nurse

Jess is the Director of NEOC and the Supervising Camp Nurse. Jess draws on the memories of the bonds she created as a camper and her favorite childhood camp activities and songs when developing NEOC programming and creating a platform for NEOC campers to create their own lifelong memories. Jess' favorite campfire activity is singing and acting out Going on a Bear Hunt. When not at camp, she enjoys attending her town's weekly outdoor concerts on the common while enjoying a packed dinner. Jess has... Jess is the Director of NEOC and the Supervising Camp Nurse. Ryan Sunda Camp Director

Dewey is the Camp Director of NEOC. After many summers at LINX Camps where he was the CIT Coordinator and a part of the leadership team, Dewey is excited to bring his passion for mentoring campers and staff to NEOC. He is particularly excited for weekly campfires as he will never turn down a toasted marshmallow. When not at camp, Dewey’s favorite summer pastimes are spending time with his friends, walking his dog and lounging at the beach. Dewey holds an A.B. in Molecular and Cellular Biology wi... Dewey is the Camp Director of NEOC. Monique MarshallVeale Director of Camper and Counselor Care

Monique is the Director of Camper Camper and Counselor Care at NEOC. A theater lover, Monique's all time favorite campfire activity is performing skits. She enjoys playing badminton with friends and family and loves summer walks along the beach and trails in the Blue Hills. Having worked with children, adolescents, and families throughout her career, Monique strives to make sure every camper feels welcome and included every time they come to camp and and that they end the camp day with a smile. ... Monique is the Director of Camper Camper and Counselor Care at NEOC. A theater lover, Monique's all time favorite campfire activity is performing skits. When not at camp, Monique leads youth and family centered programming that provides academic enrichment, social emotional development, recreation, and after school care and education to participants.

Shari Prussin Vice President and Director of Human Resources

Shari is our Vice President and Director of Human Resources. Having spent her childhood summers as a camper and counselor, Shari knows first hand the important role camp plays in fostering self-confidence and independence of both campers and staff. Beyond camp, Shari's favorite place is the beach. She loves summer evenings under the stars, preferably enjoyed with nightly ice cream. Shari previously practiced labor and employment law in New York and Los Angeles. Shari holds a J.D. from the Uni... Shari is our Vice President and Director of Human Resources. Having spent her childhood summers as a camper and counselor, Shari knows first hand the important role camp plays in fostering self-confidence and independence of both campers and staff. Amy Fuller Boyd Executive Director of Marketing, Customer Service and Strategic Development

Amy is the Executive Director of Marketing, Customer Service and Strategic Development for The LINX Companies. Amy was instrumental in bringing the idea of a nature based camp to life and helping to create the wonderful, unique place that is NEOC. When not at camp during the summer, you will find Amy kayaking, SUPing or swimming in the ocean. When you see Amy, ask her how to play Kubb! Amy has enjoyed a multi-faceted career which began with software engineering and took her on a path through sof... Amy is the Executive Director of Marketing, Customer Service and Strategic Development for The LINX Companies. Nancy Lorusso Customer Service Manager

Nancy is our Customer Service Manager. During the camp season, Nancy is available by phone or chat to assist families with all of their NEOC related questions or concerns. Originally from Canada, Nancy has a special love for winter sports, especially hockey -- to watch, not play. If she had a superpower, it would be the ability to clone herself so that she could do two of her favorite activities at the same time! Prior to working at LINX, Nancy had a career in the hotel industry with a strong em... Nancy is our Customer Service Manager. During the camp season, Nancy is available by phone or chat to assist families with all of their NEOC related questions or concerns. Originally from Canada, Nancy has a special love for winter sports, especially hockey -- to watch, not play. If she had a superpower, it would be the ability to clone herself so that she could do two of her favorite activities at the same time! Daniel Merriam Facilities Manager

Dan is our Facilities Manager and is an integral part of the NEOC Operations Team. You can see Dan's creativity and organizational talents in the builds he makes for NEOC, including our amazing s'mores cart! Dan helps to keep us running all year long and is never more than a walkie call away to lend a hand. If Dan could have any superpower, he wishes that he could fly. Imagine what he would see with a bird's eye view of NEOC's home at Elm Bank Reservatiion! Dan comes to us from a corporate backg... Dan is our Facilities Manager and is an integral part of the NEOC Operations Team. Septimus Blackwood Customer Service Specialist

Septimus is a Customer Service Specialist. An avid animal lover, you can usually find them romping through through the woods of Weston with their dog or taking their boa constrictor on a bike ride but they'll never say no to a Star Trek marathon. Septimus' favourite camp activity is archery with arts & crafts coming in as a close second. Their go-to snacks are twizzlers and Dr. Pepper or an ice cold IRN BRU. Septimus is a Customer Service Specialist.
