Days at NEOC are designed to support the curiosity Middle School-age campers have and the independence and social connection they crave. Activities encourage them to take risks, enjoy practicing and mastering concepts and skills, and explore trust. All of this is within a framework that supports and builds self-awareness and self-confidence. Small group sizes ensure that counselors will know each camper in a personalized way!
Middle School campers will be given opportunities to be leaders in our community and mentor fellow campers of all ages.
All age groups at NEOC are named after animals. As our oldest age group, Middle School campers are referred to as wolves. Their home base on campus is called their lair!
No matter how many weeks a Middle School camper chooses to spend at NEOC, our team is eager to help them foster a love of the great outdoors and the joy of a summer camp tradition!
