Leader in Training (2+ weeks) | 9th - 10th Grades

Two week minimum commitment. Register for 1-4 sessions.

Our Leader in Training (LIT) program is designed to be a fundamental and rich learning experience for rising 9th and 10th graders. LITs develop their leadership skills, become more self-aware, embrace responsibility, practice service, act as role models, and enjoy the camp activities they have come to love! All of this takes place in a supportive culture that encourages them to be their best self.

Due to the two week minimum commitment of this program, LITs finish their summer with a real sense of how their efforts make a difference.

Session 1 - June 28th + July 6th
Session 2 - July 12th + July 19th
Session 3 - July 26th + August 2nd
Session 4 - August 9th + August 16th

Activities

Each week is a mix of:

  • Leadership workshops
  • Camp activities
  • Goal setting and reflection
  • Planning and running activities for younger campers
  • Working on the community service project of the session
  • Contributing their effort to the community service project of the summer
  • Sharing lunch time with younger camper groups
  • Serving up s’mores to the whole of camp on Fridays (and then enjoying themselves!)

Registration Details

Campers who want to participate in multiple sessions do not have to attend consecutive sessions.

  • Rising 9th graders may register online or with the help of our Customer Service Specialists that can be reached by chat here on the website or by phone at 781-235-8765.
  • Participation by rising 10th graders is by invitation only and requires the camper to have participated in the LIT program as a rising 9th grader.
