Days at NEOC are designed to support the social, emotional, and physical growth of Pre-K-age campers, within a safe and supportive framework that encourages their comfort in exploring the natural world, an active lifestyle, and an ease in making friends. The camp curricula includes familiar activities to help them practice and master skills. New activities encourage them to develop trust, make new discoveries about themselves, and build confidence!
Our 1-to-5 counselor-to-camper ratio ensures the personalized attention that each young camper deserves. Each Pre-K camp group is limited to 10 campers. Pre-K campers are affectionately called Ducklings. Each group of Ducklings has a home base where they hold opening and closing circles, as well as leave their backpacks during the day. Their home base is referred to as their nest.
No matter how many weeks a Pre-K camper chooses to spend at NEOC, our team is eager to help them foster a love of the great outdoors and the joy of a summer camp tradition!
